Formed in 2003, Phoenix Rotors model helicopter club brings together RC helicopter pilots from around the Nottingham area. We meet weekly at indoor flying sessions, and have 24-hour access to a two acre flying field just north of Nottingham.
Our pilots have a range of skills, and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a beginner, or participating in competition-level flying, there’s something for everyone. If you’ve never owned a remote controlled helicopter before, we can give you advice on your first model and even help you build and learn to fly it! Feel free to contact us to find out more.
Our membership fees pay for field rent, and various incidental costs that occur throughout the year. Once you’re a member you get free access to the field, any time, any day of the year. We also have an extensive forum in which members can discuss new models, share building advice, or arrange times to fly together at the field.
Below are the current membership rates, but a substantial discount is available now we are mid-way through the year.

There is a one off joining fee for all new members of £10.00, or £5.00 for Juniors.
